One Room Challenge Week Four: How to Paint Cabinets

Today I want to walk you through the most time-consuming part of this kitchen refresh: painting the cabinets. In fact, I’m not even done with it, that’s how much time it takes! I mean, potentially, I could have been done by now if I hadn’t decided to rewatch all of season one of Westworld, but who can really say? Anyways, here’s a step-by-step look at how to paint cabinets featuring some subpar iPhone photos.

DIY Wedding Handkerchief with Morse Code

As much as my fiancé doesn’t want to admit it, there is no way either of us are getting through this wedding dry eyed. So to dress up our much needed handkerchiefs, I’m adding a secret little morse code message for him. Follow along for our super easy DIY wedding handkerchief that even the “non-sewers” can finish in an hour or less.

The birds are chirping in Cleveland and I think spring has finally arrived. I should know better than to think there won’t be any more snow, but I’m feeling hopeful! See everything we’re obsessed with in this week’s And Then We Tried Obsessions.

With an extensive use of rubber, this collection will have you ready for anything rain related. See our favorites from the Hunter for Target line.

One Room Challenge Week Two: Making Choices

Well, I can definitively say there’s nothing like posting before pictures and committing publicly to a tight timeline to light a fire under me! This past week saw some great progress on my kitchen One Room Challenge project and I think we’ve finally nailed down most of the decisions. Let’s get into the details.

Spring Project List

I love working on big furniture pieces and tearing walls and ceilings apart for big impact projects but with my basement full of my porch furniture and the garage filled with melting snow and freezing temps, I haven’t had anywhere to work. Also, blankets and fires just seemed like the right choice for a couple months. Now that it is warming up a bit, I’m ready to get to work, and could use some advice from the internet if you’ve got any suggestions. Here’s my current spring project list.

If you’re looking for something to watch or buy this weekend, we’ve got you covered with this week’s And Then We Tried Obsessions.
