Christmas is just one week away, so chances are anything you’re trying to get shipped won’t make it on time. Fear not, Clevelanders. You can pop into any of these shops and grab your last-minute gifts this week. These shops have a good variety of items, too, so you’ll be able to please everyone from your HBIC friend to your sock-loving dad.

Océanne

Hannah and I have been OBSESSED with this jewelry for a while now. It has a real Madewell vibe and feels very high-quality IRL. She continues to come up with beautiful pieces and has recently opened a storefront in Gordon Square. We’d recommend these Phases of the Moon earrings or these Asymmetrical Golden Hour studs for any earring lovers. You can also grab candles and a few different shirts/accessories here, so it’s worth a look!

Visit:

Cuyahoga Collective

Cuyahoga Collective is my favorite place to kill a little time while waiting for a Barrio table, so I obviously spend a lot of time here. #QuesoAddict. We’re loving The Great Lakes crew sweatshirt and the Market Centennial Print and they have tons of great prints in the shop. Check them out for candles, home decor, apparel, accessories, and jewelry.

Lovely Paperie & Gifts

You can’t buy anything online from them, but their shop is always well stocked with adorable things. They have a great barware section and a new HUGE Lily Pulitzer area. We can’t get enough of this Lovely x Shore Society x Blair Ritchie collaboration tote bag. (Looks like you can grab this tote on the Shore Society site now if you can’t make it into the Lovely store.) Stop here for home decor, glassware, apparel, accessories, or holiday decorations.

Fount

A Cleveland Flea fave, Fount has gorgeous leather goods. Anyone would be thrilled to get their simple leather keychains and their Bellfield tote bag is practically a Cleveland requirement. They have a storefront in Gordon Square, and also one in Columbus for anyone a little further south. Put us down for a Coventry Bucket Bag and a Finley Wristlet, please.

Attaching a wood fence to a chainlink fence

As I mentioned in my last fence/gate update post, I helped Erika attach a wood fence to the chainlink fence in her backyard. The process was similar to when I converted a chainlink fence to a wood fence, except in this case, we left the chainlink fence intact. This method is a good option if you want to add a little more privacy to your yard or camouflage a chainlink fence while you wait to save up for a completely new fence.

Obsessions: 10.19.18

You wanna know what we have been decidedly NOT obsessed with in the past month? The blog. Womp womp. We’re hopping back in this week, but we’ll be posting a bit more sporadically for a while. Here’s hoping you all loved getting caught up on Michelle’s driveway gate plans yesterday. See what else we’ve been obsessed with in this week’s And Then We Tried Obsessions.

Fence Updates and Two-Panel Wood Driveway Gate Plans

Hellooooo, I’m thinking about fences again! You all had the pleasure of following along as I moved and rebuilt the fence in my backyard and then converted a chainlink fence into a wood fence along my driveway, and now it’s finally time to build that driveway gate. Of course, I can’t just build a driveway gate and leave it at that, I’ve also decided to cap the entire fence to cover up the dogear pickets and give everything a cleaner and more finished look. HOORAY!
