Anyone else think it was Friday on Tuesday? Maybe it’s because it feels like spring should be here by now, or maybe it’s that we’ve been looking forward to St. Patrick’s Day, but it’s been a long week. Obsessing over some fun new things kept us going, though. Here’s what we’re loving in this week’s And Then We Tried Obsessions.
Guys, I’m very sorry, but everything I told you in our Spring Fashion Wishlist was a lie. Well, except for the hair tint. I have a new must-have spring item that I can’t stop thinking about: an oversized denim jacket. But did you think I would just find a single jacket and be done with it? Of course not. I had to go all out and create a full denim jacket roundup consisting of the best that the internet has to offer.Keep Reading
I survived skiing last weekend! I went skiing for the third time in my life and managed to not die, so now I get to embark on the best part of any new hobby, shopping for all the gear. For this trip, I borrowed Hannah’s ski jacket, pants, gloves, goggles, socks, clothes, literally all of it, and now that I think I want to ski again, I should buy my own jacket. Bonus: if I don’t have to borrow Hannah’s jacket, that means she can also come skiing and we CAN BE SKI-FRIENDS. Amazing. Here’s everything I’m looking at for my new ski wardrobe. Please chime in in the comments with your recommendations because I’m basing this all purely on aesthetics.
We’ve come to the conclusion that when Robin is out of the country, the rest of the ATWT team falls to pieces. So, Robin, hope you’re having a good trip and everything but come back to us soon! Here’s what we’re loving in this week’s And Then We Tried Obsessions.
As I mentioned in our Spring Fashion Wishlist, I’ve had my eye on the Rose Gold Temporary Tint from Kristin Ess for spring. What better way to celebrate sunshine and rosé season than with rose gold hair? As a preemptive strike (and in the name of journalism, obviously) I recently gave the hair tint a spin. So, here’s my Kristin Ess Rose Gold Temporary Tint review, complete with terrible bathroom selfies. Let’s get into it.
WE DID IT. It’s March, which means spring is right around the corner which means it’s basically rosé season. In fact, the weather was cooperating earlier this week so Hannah and Michelle got a head start on testing for this year’s exposé. See everything else we’re loving in this week’s And Then We Tried Obsessions.
Logically, we know it’s too soon to get excited about spring. At least here in Cleveland, we definitely still have snow in the near future. But with March kicking off tomorrow and a handful of recent warm days, we’re dreaming of what we’re going to be wearing once the weather warms up for good. Keep Reading
Target has done it again. It wasn’t enough that they were taking all our money with their Hearth and Hand collection or their Joy Lab althleisure brand we were loving last fall. Now with their newest line, Universal Thread they are diversifying their fashion with a denim focused line that we are loving. Looking through the collection, I knew I liked pieces and that some looked oddly familiar. And then I realized why I like it so much; because they look just like my second favorite store, Madewell. So similar in fact, many of the pieces are almost exact replicas. We’ve rounded up our favorite Madewell inspired looks from the Universal Thread collection and ask should we save or splurge?Keep Reading
We tried, you guys. We really did. But this week, we’re shopping again. See what we’ve added to cart and what hobby Michelle is picking up in this week’s And Then We Tried Obsessions.
